No. 14 - Wallace Sterling Silver Goblets - Set of 12 - No Monogram - Gold Wash
No. 14 - Wallace Sterling Silver Goblets - Set of 12 - No Monogram - Gold Wash
SOLD $2,250.00 Sold: Oct 20, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
My mother received these as a wedding gift at a society wedding in River Oaks, Houston in 1945 when she married a doctor. She used them while married to him until 1960. I was born in 1962 and we never used them when I was growing up or since. They have been polished occasionally, but always stored in their individual bags all these years. Will not sell separately. *Some very light scratches due to age and use, but in very good condition. I went over them closely and polished them myself. 3 of them have a 1/16" to 1/8" ding on them which I initially didn't even notice until looking them over to respond to a buyer question. 2 of them have a shadow-like line around the middle. I can't call it a scratch because it's more like a discolored area. The photo of the goblet in my hand shows that discoloration. I have also added a photo of the worst scratch I could find. It's the photo with my fingernail placed at the beginning of the scratch. There are no others near that large. Will be shipped USPS insured with signature required.
